ok, so we went to the F1 on Sunday.
Yes it was a good day out but it made me think on several things, people are inconsiderate jerks and I am too accepting.
So we rocked up at the gates around 10am, they opened 10:30, we get in, walk around a nice corner and setup our chairs. All is good we have a corner, we have a massive screen to watch and we are about 2-3mins from the food and facilities.
the race wasn't until 5pm, so we sat through the starter races, most where pretty cool to watch.
now about 4:45, people decided that there was room in front of us and kept stepping over our chairs, at first it was just irritating as we had to let them through, then... then... they started standing in front of us like we weren't even there... i mean come on we've been here since 10:40 waiting for the race and you think you can just come in and stand in front of us? like seriously WTF? after the majority of the people around us (that had also been there since before 11am) getting annoyed and after a lot of yelling and insults they eventually ducked down so we could see a little... but seriously?
my solution... semi allocated, staff patrolled general admission, but of course people wouldn't understand and then it would be hell if something went wrong.
so my suggestion for anyone wanting to go to an event, get a set seat in one of the stands... you wont regret it...
