Driving Experiment

So, i've been conducting a little experiment with my driving style. Only reving to 2-2.5k and accelerating as slowly as possible, im doing this mainly as a attempt to save some money on petrol.
But the interesting thing that i've noticed is that even though im accelerating so slowly, i still find myself waiting and having to slow down because of cars ahead of me...
